2018 Subaru Outback

After having the sales growth of a lifetime in 2016, Subaru has taken some time to fine-tune its lineup, and one of the first nameplates to get the makeover treatment is the 2018 Subaru X3Outback. It's not an entirely brand-new generation, but the Outback has received quite a few revisions that take it to the next level of sophistication without losing that signature outdoorsy ruggedness that longtime Outback fans love so much.

Why is the Subaru Outback getting an upgrade now? All you have to do is compare the numbers: in 2009, the Outback sold 55,000 units, which is a stark contrast to the 180,000 units that sold just last year. It's the most popular name among Subaru's models, and Subaru answered this unbridled enthusiasm by adding a number of appealing features.

Some surface-level revisions, just on first glance, include new, bolder front and rear fascias and a more refined and premium interior constructed with the latest materials. Technology like the EyeSight Driver Assistsystem and a redesigned infotainment system is right at your fingertips, especially when drivers opt for the available 8-inch touchscreen.

The 2018 Subaru Outback also gets several upgrades under the hood, like a tweaked suspension and chassis for smoother and more responsive handling, as well as a better sound-deafening technology for a more relaxing driving experience. The engine options are unchanged and come standard with all-wheel drive. Plus, the Outback is still the longest-lasting vehicle in its class, giving you a kind of value and reliability you won't be able to find anywhere else in the segment.

Come check out the new 2018 Outback when it comes to our dealership at Schlossmann Subaru City sometime late this summer. No pricing information is available yet, but keep your eyes open for updates about the Subaru Outback. You won't regret it.

2018 Subaru Crosstrek

The Subaru Crosstrek has been redesigned for the 2018 model year, meaning you can expect several significant changes when the 2018 Suabru Crosstrek reaches the lot here at Schlossmann Subaru City.

Chief among the redesign updates are new styling choices for the exterior, including a raised stance, versatile roof rails, and black body cladding. For the first time ever on the Crosstrek, you can opt for 19-inch alloy wheels. Available LED Steering Responsive Headlights are a nice touch for the new Crosstrek, and you can enhance the lighting experience with the available High Beam Assist.

High-strength steel is used to create more rigidity and a smoother ride-and should ensure the Crosstrek stays on roadways longer. In fact, the Crosstrek holds its value better than any other model in its class, according to ALG.

Under the hood, the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek's boxer engine now benefits from direct injection, which will increase power to 152 horsepower without sacrificing efficiency.

Inside, the 2018 Crosstrek features a new acoustic windshield that is meant to reduce outside noise. The interior is also marked by stylish contrast stitching and upgraded materials for higher quality. Available perforated leather-trimmed upholstery provides greater comfort and better ventilation; this year, a six-way power driver's seat is also optional.

The cabin is even more advanced this year with updates to SUBARU STARLINK™, now making Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ standard. Harman Kardon premium audio is available, delivering high quality sound through an eight-speaker, 432-watt-equivalent system.

Cargo space is improved for the 2018 model year. On top of that, Subaru has widened the rear gate opening so that you can load in even larger gear for whatever lifestyle your Crosstrek will support.

The new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek prioritizes safety with its award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. New for the technology this year is the addition of Lane Keep Assist. A Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system is also available for the 2018 model year.

2018 Subaru Legacy

Our first glimpse of the redesigned 2018 Subaru Legacy came at the beginning of the year at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, an event that drew the attention of many auto enthusiasts. Subaru piqued the industry's interest with its newly-designed lineup, which featured sleeker, modern looks and tech-savvy interiors crafted from premium materials. The 2018 Legacy was one of these, and though it's not expected to launch until this summer alongside the new Outback, fans are already clamoring for a closer look at the revamped car.

One of the first things you'll notice upon approaching the 2018 Legacy is the revised front and rear bumpers, which have been sculpted for a more athletic, bold look that gives the Legacy an overall commanding presence on the road. New side mirrors and clean, sculpted lines make the Legacy more aerodynamic, improving handling, wind noise, and efficiency. And with available LED headlights, the 2018 Subaru Legacy looks more refined than ever before.

Other perks include a retuned suspension for better performance, and with standard all-wheel drive, the 2018 Legacy comes with a kind of capability and grip you won't find on any other vehicle in its class. And if you want an even sportier look, drivers can opt for the 2.5i Sport trim, which includes athletic design touches like a rear spoiler, two-tone cloth upholstery, and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Want more tech right at your fingertips? The 2018 Subaru Legacy's interior features the SUBARU STARLINK™ Multimedia system, which puts all sort of information and entertainment right within reach of the driver's seat. It even comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, so you can stay connected via your smartphone on the go.
